Hike Pacchanta to 7 Lagunas Ausangate Skirts full Day

In the southeast of the city of Cusco 130 kilometers away is located  one of the most beautiful places of the cordillera of Peru , this part of the Andes has  seven beautiful lagoons of different  greens color. The lagoons are surrounded by spectacular landscapes and mountains that are part of the Vilcanota mountain range such as the Ausangate and Kayangate mountains. This trip is an incredible trip during the dry season May to October ,  Pacchanta the base camp for this adventure has as well  hot springs  that visitors will be able to enjoy after the hike .

 Itinerary  :

Cusco – Tinki – Pacchanta – Lagunas – Cusco

The trip begins with an early pick up from  your hotel in the morning. Then we will be transferred  to the town of Tinki, where we will rest for a while. After about forty-five more minutes we will finally reach Pacchanta a small town near the mountains. In this place we will have a chance to enjoy  our snacks before starting the hike towards the 7 lagoons of Ausangate.

During  the 5 hours approximately we will be accompanied side by side  by the two most important peaks , Ausangate and Kayangate , we will visit the lagoons of; Azulcocha, Oqécocha, Pucacocha 1 and 2, Alqacocha 1 and 2 and Q’omercocha, one after the other. Enjoying its magical colors and unique beauty that each one has. Also on the way it is possible to see birds, alpacas, llamas, many wild rabbits called vizcachas and if we are  lucky we will see the Andean Condor ,king of the Andes returning home in the afternoon.

Our delicious Picnic lunch will be served in a special place Close to the hot springs of the town of Pacchanta. After lunch we will have a good time to relax in the hot springs of Pacchanta. Undoubtedly it will be one of the moments you will remember the most after this wonderful adventure.

We will be back In cusco around 8:00 p.m
