Chinchero to Huayllabamba hike starts in Chinchero Inca Town , an Andean village renowned for its original textiles . The smooth hiking route then follows a downward stream to meet the Vilcanota River in the Sacred Valley. The gentle route is well suited to families and those looking for an easy hike in the sacred valley. Huaypo Tours arranges the Chinchero to Huayllabamba trek on a private basis only, not as a group tour

The total Chinchero to Huayllabamba Trek is about 6 to 6.5  kilometres (4.3-5 miles), which is approximately three to four hours of hiking.

Itinerary-

Your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you by car to Chinchero Town ,  you will be able to visit the inca market with textiles and souvenirs made with local materials and old techniques, a short visit to the colonial Church is part of the program before starting the hike.

The hike follows the ancient inca trail known as the Capac- Nañ or Real trail , you will find remains of the Inca engineering for building walls along the trail and make possible its utility. After walking down the hill we will arrive to Urquillos a peaceful Andean town  in the middle of the sacred valley where we will have a chance to enjoy our box lunches before starting  the return to our hotel.
